Oil-sealed Rotary Vacuum Pumps
Among the mechanical pumps capable of compressing up to atmospheric pressure, the oil-sealed rotary vacuum pump is the most economical and easiest to handle. It is suitable for a wide range of applications and, therefore, can be found in many applications around the world.
Oil-sealed Rotary Piston Vacuum Pumps
Oil-sealed rotary vacuum pumps are categorized by the mechanism employed: rotary piston type (Kinney), Rotary vane type (Gaede), cam type (Senco), etc.
Osaka Vacuum’s rotary piston is durable and structurally allows for a large intake space. This construction enables efficient exhaust, making it ideal for large pumps.
Pump oil is vital for the safe operation of the pump.
Osaka Vacuum’s oil-sealed rotary vacuum pumps can be operated under harsh operating conditions such as continuous operation in low vacuum ranges, and repeated short-term cycles at atmospheric pressure and vacuum. These pumps provide a long reliable lifetime when equipped with an appropriate oil supply mechanism.
This pump features a precision, robust design, and an easy-to-maintain construction that has been reported to last 20 to 30 years in the field with proper maintenance.

Oil-sealed Rotary Piston Vacuum Pumps
Of the mechanical vacuum pumps that can perform compression up to atmospheric pressure, oil-sealed rotary vacuum pumps are the most widely used. They are economical, efficient, and easy to operate. Users can create a vacuum with an oil-sealed rotary vacuum pump. These pumps are also combined with mechanical booster pumps to create vacuum pumping systems with high flow rates. They are also used as roughing pumps in vacuum systems. Oil-sealed rotary vacuum pumps are versatile and play an active role in many industries, including automobiles, metals, steel, packaging, food, medical supplies and treatment, electricity, electronics, semiconductors, and advanced research.
Point
Efficient oil separator → An effective oil separator is built into the oil tank. Any oil discharged together with air can be separated and collected efficiently.
Easy-to-clean oil tank → The pump oil that is discharged from the suction chamber flows into the oil tank and then returns to the stator of the suction chamber. Our oil-sealed rotary vacuum pumps can quickly drain the oil from the tank via the oil drain valve. Any rust and/or deposited substances at the bottom of the tank can be easily removed through a large cleaning port.
Large oil gauge → The oil level and color can easily be checked from the large gauge. It’s 10 cm in diameter (K30002 is 4 cm x 34 cm).
Sight glass for easy checking of oil supply → The oil supply piping is fitted with a flapper-type sight glass. This makes it possible to check the oil flow and the color of any dirt in the oil.
Easily replaceable shaft seal components → Shaft sleeves are fitted between the shaft and the oil seals to protect the shaft from wear due to contact. Once wear progresses, simply replace the oil seals and shaft sleeves. ※Except for certain models.

Oil-sealed Rotary Piston Vacuum Pumps
The oil-sealed rotary piston vacuum pumps, developed when we were founded in 1950, have evolved into their current form through ongoing improvements to meet modern needs. Along with a high pumping speed, their durable design allows them to operate continuously in the low vacuum range, making them suitable for heavy-duty industrial applications such as pumping down large chambers.
