Ball Bearing Turbo Molecular Pumps
A ball bearing uses balls as rolling elements. It is a versatile bearing capable of supporting radial loads, thrust loads, or both. Its characteristics include a low manufacturing cost, easy troubleshooting, high resistance to external shock, and a lighter weight than magnetic bearing types due to its simple structure and fewer components.
Ball bearing-type turbo molecular pumps are further categorized as “grease-lubricated” or “oil-lubricated.” Osaka Vacuum offers a wide range of these pumps.
List of Ball Bearing Turbo Molecular Pumps
TG-F SERIES
Grease-lubricated ball bearing type Turbo Molecular Pumps
Grease-lubricated ball bearing models with a pumping speed of 50 to 2400 L/s.
Since its launch in 1999, the TG-F Series has been one of our best-selling turbo molecular pump models. Its grease-lubricated ball bearings make it compact and robust with high shock tolerance. This feature enables the pump to be installed on portable equipment or moving parts.
Point
Mounting orientation free: flexibility in vacuum equipment design
Maintenance-free: No grease refill between the overhaul cycle of 20,000 to 30,000 hours.
Compact and lightweight design.
Models that can withstand air inrush are available. Models that can withstand shock are also available, making them suitable for use in portable systems or moving parts.
Onboad controller models (TG60F, TG70F, TG240)
